The Nikon 50mm f1.2 S is large because of it's optical excellence but also, and mainly, because it is optimized for video with very limited focus breathing.

It’s not an issue at all to carry one or 2 spares.

It’s actually a very nice camera and performance is plenty for the target audience.

In case you have not used it. It’s a fine lens that is very lightweight.

The plastic lens mount is absolutely not an issue.

I have to disagree.

I own a Zfc and the materials used don’t feel cheap at all in absolute terms and even less so when considering the price point.

The controls are fine.

It’s most probably coming at some point but Nikon will release it when they need bonus revenue due to their overall release plan.

I expect it to be based on Z6III tech, do my guess is a Q3 2023...

The Zfc is a really fun camera to shoot with on top of its great looks.

C1 Pro NR is IMHO still better than LR.

C1 Pro is far from being aimed only at studio. It’s just the better overall converter.
