That's how I use my 100-400, as long as you about 6 feet away ;)

Last "full frame" I shot was my old canon SLR.  ;)  Since I do a lot of shooting with my 100-400, the "extra" zoom with the crop is nice to have.  ;)

Yeah, tried that...even removed the battery, powered it up, did it 3x and still there. It's not a "big" deal because I shoot everything raw, and the "content aware" feature in photoshop removes it ...

I upgraded from the 5000 to the 7200 as well.  Started out with the 5000 in 2010, when I finally put my film slr to rest.  I found the 7200 in 2017 as a "referb".  Couldn't pass it up.  Low light ...

Well, the only "defect" on my 7200 is a "dead spot on the right side of the camera sensor.  Small dot.  Easy to get rid of in post.  Tried cleaning it via the built in cleaning but doesn't fix ...

LOL, my poor old D7200 hasn't had a firmware update since v1.04C

But I'd have to switch out all my lenses....Been on Nikon for almost 45 years.

Couple "problems" I have with the mirrorless. I've been shooting with SLR's since the 80's, d-slr's since 2009. Same with smart phone, I like the BIGGER size.

I've been using the smart controller for a couple years...no issue with the screen below.

I've got the mini2 & the Air2S, no reason to "upgrade".
the mini2 is the travel one, the Air2S is my go-to UAV.
