Although Canon did two 50MP DSLRs... so out there for those who know how to use them... (Hint: get the 5Dsr....)

Maybe try Aurora HDR or Franzis' HDR Projects Pro? Older versions of both have been given away from time-to-time...

It's a bit of an improvement over last year, were the headline features were Pano and HDR tools that weren't as good as stand-alone ones people seriously interested in those things probably already...

Interesting it came out before Black Friday this year, IIRC it's usually after. As with last year's version most of the new stuff doesn't seem great for a large upgrade cost, but the Smart...

Putting the Oly 300mm on my GH5 would give me the equivalent reach of about 360mm on a 50MP FF body, tho the FoV of a 600... Find a 20MP FF and then it's 2x... Of course the question is whether...

Oly cameras have always been way better weather-proofed than they rated them, but maybe it was a low-risk strategy, and maybe they have decided to come up with something more reasonable now?

The EU 30 minute rule died ages ago... anyone still following it is doing it for their own reasons, not legal requirements in any jurisdiction...

Auto-correct from centric, or just a typo, clear what they meant either way...

It has the same AF as the X-H2, but less good than the X-H2S due to the lack of a stacked sensor, but the cost of a 40MP stacked sensor would put the price through the roof and they'd sell very few...

Strictly the EU haven't banned 8k TVs, as the power requirement (which is the issue, not the 8k pixels) is only for the default out-of-the-box display mode, so they could come up with a low-power...

This is nonsense... FSI has more wiring around the pixels, but uses micro-lenses and light-pipes so most of the light enters the pixel. BSi still has some gaps around the pixel, but again uses...

Frequently "1" series cameras come for Olympics, although they may not wait that long this time around...
