I was only four years old, but I do remember it! It is one of my first memories as a kid, and it happened to be aurora! I grew up in Minnesota and the display was amazing.

Yes, however, the auroral oval is centered around the geomagnetic poles, not the geographic poles, so Churchill is actually a better destination to see the aurora than either Alaska or Iceland.

It was an 8K timeline--most shots were from the a7r ii or a7 iv, but I had some from the a7s iii as well, so technically not EVERY sequence was 8K, the ones from the a7s iii had to be scaled up a bit.
