Not everyone lives in USA, the vast majority are paying far more for Canon than Sony. Canon doesn't give a crap about any market but USA and I know this for a fact, I worked for them once.

Same in Australia too. Canon Australia total rip-off. Our dollar is quite strong against the Yen and no savings passed on at all by Canon.

What happened to the wonderful Samyang 135 f/1.8, outrageous it is not mentioned. Much smaller and lighter than the Sigma, optically excellent, and even cheaper.

The 1D did not have 1/16000s read speed. The x-sync was limited to 1/500s. A true global shutter would have allowed any sync speed. The sensor was exposed at once but you could not read the charge...

I've seen 8K 77" TV's with 1.5kW energy rating, that's absurd. Imagine the 83" and now 90"+ version, we would be looking at 2.5kW+. Pointless resolution.
